Has anyone had trouble finding mens dress shirts that fit right?

My neck is 17-17 1/2 but the shirt at the bottom looks horrible when its tucked in and way too big. I have a bodybuilder physique where I’m larger up top and then my waist slims down to my hips ( V shape body). Just trying to find shirts that are slim or tailored already so that I don’t have to buy 5 or 6 shirts and get them all tailored. Anyone know any stores that sell shirts for men with this body shape or more narrow and body fit clothes.

Thanks! I tried JCPenny which was where I had to return a shirt but they didnt have any custom fit ones so to speak. Just whatever the neck size was pretty much they all are the same in the bottom. I guess I will have to check out Macy’s or another department store else tailor shop/mens wearhouse to see what size I am. Thanks for the responses so far …

Look for shirts that are labeled as “Fitted Dress Shirt” – That’s how manufacturers indicate that the shirt has more of a taper at the waist line than a standard shirt. Most major brands, including Van Husen and Arrow offer fitted shirts, and you should be able to find them at most major department stores – but you may have to ask a sales person to help you, since they are sometimes buried under the regular shirts.

If a fitted shirt doesn’t offer enough of a taper, then you may have to look at on line sellers that specialize in shirts for bodybuilders (such as http://www.hotbodz.com/ )- but the selection in mens dress shirts from the specialty shops is usually quite limited.
