What’s the name of arm bands on mens dress shirts?

I’m thinking of those arm bands on mens dress shirts – you might see on an old school banker. I think they were used to hold your sleeves up as dress shirts only came in one sleeve length at one time. Are they still available today? Where can you find them?

I’ve been looking for them, too. I made a search, and the correct name for them is “sleeve garter”. Make a search for them on any search engine, and they will come up. It’s all about knowing the right name…

Check out this website: http://www.gentlemansemporium.com/store/001224.php Things are expensive there, but it gives you an idea of what they look like on.

I didn’t think they were so frilly; I would personally like some leather plain ones or something. I’m gonna keep looking…
