Mens Suit – What do you think about a light, baby blue mens dress shirt with black pants & jacket?

I would be wearing this mens dress shirt to a wake & funeral. I always hear “don’t wear blue with black”. I think that’s more for navy blue though. I like the way light blue looks with black but am curious what other people think.

Sounds hot, you’re going to look nice and no no no on navy and black………lol

    I have personally never heard of the " No Blue with Black" . I often wear a deep Blue shirt with a black suit.

    The only concern could be the light shade blue may be swamped by the darkness of the Black.

    Otherwise it is all a personal choice, If it feel right for YOU, then wear it .
